Safety Datasheets (SDS) are important documents in the safe supply, handling and use of chemicals. They help ensure that those who use chemicals in the workplace use them safely without risk of harm to users or the environment.
The SDS will contain the information necessary to allow employers to do a risk assessment as required by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH). The SDS itself is not an assessment. However, it will describe the hazards helping employers assess the probability of those hazards arising in the workplace.
The manufacturing plant for our Joint & Joist Adhesive has recently changed. This has resulted in the need for two different datasheets during our stock transition period, and it may therefore be necessary for users to identify which datasheet applies to the adhesive being used. Please contact our Product Support team productsupport@egger.com / 01434 613304 with the batch number that can be found on the adhesive bottle, and they will be able to confirm the correct datasheet. We appreciate your understanding during this transition period.
