As a rule, when processing laminate with Coloured Core, the processing guidelines listed for laminates apply, however the following information should be taken into account:
- The use of special synthetic resins in the production of coloured core laminate decreases the flexibility of the laminate with coloured core. This should be taken into account during
the individual processing steps, e.g. sawing, milling, drilling, etc. - The stiffness of coloured core laminates with coloured core, as well as the need to hide the adhesive joint for optical reasons, require a particular type of adhesives. Thermoplastic adhesive systems, such as PVAc adhesives are preferred. Recommended adhesive quantity: 120 150 g/m².
- Due to a different core construction, slight colour differences can occur in comparison to other EGGER materials, this is particularly important when using matching products. Samples are available from our webshop.
- XL laminates can not be postformed.
