As of 24th August 2023, adequate training is required before industrial or professional use. The UK REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) framework added Diisocyanates to the 'List of restrictions'. These conditions aim to safeguard both human health and the environment during the handling and use of diisocyanates. The training requirements are set out in paragraphs 4 and 5 of Annex XVII of the restriction, as amended by 2021/904.
We have developed a dedicated Web Page to assist our customers in understanding the legislative changes and in making informed decisions regarding appropriate training. For any further information please contact productsupport@egger.com / 01434 613304.
