After drying the chips, fibres or strands in excess of 150° heat to a moisture content under 4%, they are mixed with synthetical glue and processed under high pressure. This production process can not be survived by any living plant pests.
Therefore, EGGER wood based panels can be used as packaging or as pallets without fumigation or heat-treatment.
