Bevels are the slanted edges of individual plank or tile designs that build an intended V joint when installed.
Once the flooring decor has been selected, we use longitudinal, centre or all-round bevels to emphasise the floorboards. Bevels underline either individual floorboards or the row. To protect the edges, we add a waterproof varnish.
There are 3 different types of bevels
- 2-sided bevels - these emphasise the flooring boards in a row
- 4-sided bevels - the all-round bevel emphasises each individual floor board
- Tile effect bevels - additional bevels milled onto the panels create a natural tile effect
