Flammex Flame Retardant Laminate meets the specific requirements of building materials class B1 in accordance with DIN 4102-1: 1998-05 as well as the French fire behaviour class M1 in accordance with NF P 92-501.
As Flammex Flame Retardant Laminate is generally used for the lamination of laminated bonded boards, please note that any reference to fire classifications relates to the laminate only. The adhesive and substrate that the laminate is bonded to will impact on the overall rating of any finished goods - the combination of the structure and the surface provides the classification.
In the event of a fire, the laminated bonded boards meet the special requirements of EN 13501-1/ B-S2, d0, providing that the following materials have been used:
Substrate: Eurospan Flammex (fire resistant raw board)
Glue system: appropriate fire resistant adhesive
Lamination: Flammex Flame Retardant Laminate
